The literary geniuses behind Woolf Pack – “a local femzine brimming with essays, fiction, poetry, a recipe, a comic, and staples” – asked me to design a cover for their second issue. The cover needed to be full of life, colour and character, representing the tone of the zine and the collaborative, diverse nature of its contributors. It had to feature the Woolf Pack logo, integrating the vibrant pink and turquoise of the skull and text frame throughout the design. Most importantly, it had to match the hand-drawn, strewn together nature of the zine, while maintaining a strong point of difference and visual identity.
