In 2022 I was working within the Centre of Childhood Nutrition Research to create co-design resources with nutrition researchers, supporting them as they embarked on their own co-design projects. In our quest to meet the needs of healthcare researchers, our team quickly realised that many other contexts were also craving practical and creative co-design resources. Before we knew it, we had created a universal co-design handbook, rich with creative methods that could be adapted to any context.

In 2023, BIS Publishers saw the digital resources we had developed and suggested we turn them into a bona fide book. Jeremy Kerr and I spent a whirlwind couple of months writing and designing 'The Art of Co-design' – a guide to creative collaboration. My labour of love is a whopping 200-page 'A-Z of Methods', which sits alongside a nuanced and adaptable step-by-step guide to co-design. The book will be launching in all good books stores (I've always wanted to say that!) in 2023.
