Lovemarks Stationery Co. was a stationery line I designed for the 2014 QUT Interactive and Visual Design exhibition to expand my practical knowledge of print design and sustainable printing methods. The line blends delightfully novel stationery design with sustainable textiles and manufacturing practices, acknowledging the role of stationery in our lives beyond its functionality and practicality. Derived from popular marketing jargon, the term “Lovemarks” encapsulates this idea – describing a brand that transcends consumer expectations, fostering a deep emotional connection and loyalty among customers.
Inspired by the warmth and character of the mid-twentieth century coupled with the ease and simplicity of modern Scandinavian design, Lovemarks is designed to delight through unfamiliarity – adding joy to the everyday.
